Yael Genish

Yael Genish has a bachelor’s degree in government and civil society, with a focus on international relations.
Yael was born in Munich, Germany and immigrated to Israel at the age of five. She speaks German, English and Hebrew at a native level.
Yael has a lot of knowledge and experience in everything related to German Jewry due to her work in the Jewish community in Munich.
As part of her work at the Decker, Pex, Levi office, Yael provides the initial consultation to our clients seeking to obtain German or Austrian citizenship, in order to review the family story and the connection to Germany \ Austria, and explain how to best start the citizenship recovery procedure.
Yael now lives in Berlin with her husband and three daughters. Another main part of her work for the firm is research in Berlin archives and issuing documents to prove our clients’ eligibility for German citizenship.
